Why do I like to paint? It’s because painting allows me to see stuff that isn’t there yet; it allows me to envision things in real time via “happy accidents”. This is a different artistic medium for me than music is. Music for me is a feeling that I HAVE to let out somehow, also via “happy accidents”. The excitement I have for the outcome is definitely the same in each though; I’m so eager to see (or hear) the end results in both scenarios, and I understand the patience involved. It’s all really a lesson in patience. I love doing all of it so much and I’m so grateful that I’m able to do even half of what I’ve already done. It’s a creating universe not a created one, but yet it’s both… it always was and will be.
